Ruemere, I take your well thought out comments to heart and will make efforts to rectify the things you mention. I appreciate very much the depth of detail you provide in your comment and I take no offense due to your reasonable and polite tone. You simply offer your thoughts, in a non-insulting way, as well as provide ideas for how to improve the class. I happen to agree with many of your points and in fact this is why I posted it here, to get input from others. I will continue to add flesh to the class over the coming days and at the same time see if there are ways I can try to make the character an appealing PC class. However, it may just end up that when it comes to pure "combat-ability" the class is second rate, which for some completely eliminates it as a pc class. I personally do not always look at classes for their ability to do X amount of damage in a combat so much as "hmm that just seems like an interesting class to try to roleplay". However, I do admit that even the most steadfast roleplayer may get frustrated if he is not able to contribute to overcoming challenges in some sort of meaningful way. I'll see what I can do about that. Thanks again for your detailed analysis! --john
