Alright, I've been invited to participate in a 2nd edition game of AD+D. To better fit what the party needs I decided to create a dwarven champion at the recommendation of one of the other group members. Unfortunately, I don't have any 2nd edition books or Forgotten Realms books. I'd borrow the books from the DM but he needs them to plan the campaign and I haven't had the time to show up early to create the character before our sessions.
