Help in preparing for a new campaign

AlphaOmega

First Post
Good day everyone,

I'm looking for enworlders to maybe give me some ideas what my players might expect and/or what you'd like to see in the following campaign idea. Basically, I have this world I've used in the past and will be here again in the upcoming weeks. Its pretty much Planet of the Apes except with lions. Hopefully I haven't scared everyone away :)

The cliff note version of background (so the post won't be too long) is I've used most of the different lion-based races to represent different cultures/nations. For example, I have a sphinx race which is loosely modeled after the egyptians. There are also griffons, lammasu, etc.

I'll have about 1-3 new players in addition to some others from a previous group. So I'm looking for ideas that maybe I haven't thought of.

thanks in advance folks...

I assume the PCs will still be the standard humans, elves, dwarves, etc?

Since cats like to play with their pray, maybe some sort of gladiator-like arena that allows the lions to slowly kill their human/elf/dwarf prey over time.

Yeah... the standard races will be present... except half-orcs... still juggling around some ideas for different races I may allow into the game...

And I do have a gladiator-flavor present in certain cities.

Talk to them (the players) ask for their interest, what they are looking for, they are the one that will be playing in your game. :D Spend the time before the game creating the characters and building background, think of questions to build their backgrond. Also spend the time discussing your world and rules.
