Not as many companies make 30mm.  Those that do just do seem to not have exactly the stuff I want.  Because their larger, you need more paint.  I don't like Warhammer minis so that cuts down on the minis that are available for purchase.Pros of 25mm: Cheaper than 30mm.  Many companies produce 25mm.  These seem to have most of the stuff I want.  I also have a small set of 25mm, most of which are painted.  Most (if not all) 25mm minis are metal.  Most of the people I know who collect minis use 25mm.Cons of 25mm: Smaller might mean less detail.  Chainmail--which I play occasionaly, and D&D state that 30mm is their standard sized mini for tabletop games.That's what I've come up with.  However, I do have further questions for anybody who can answer them:1. Are there skaven (or ratmen) and beastmen offered in 25mm?  I own a some Warhammer version of these.  I have these races in my campaign world.2. I heard rumors that the miniature industry is slowly converting to 30mm.  Is there any substance to these rumors?
