But it also relates to the origins of orcs - they were originally humans that didn't retreat to safe havens when a great magical apocalypse occured...from those energies they became various sub-races of orcs (Green, Grey, Black, Red, and Blue), each with very different characteristics. Grey are your standard nasty PC fodder; Green or more shamanic, akin to primitive peoples; Red are highly militarized and organized, with a slight Japanese flavor; and Black are rarer, larger, and just plain nasty. Blue orcs are the descendents of a monastery that got caught in the apocalypse...they are scholars, alchemists, wizards, inventors and, of course, artificers.</p></blockquote><p></p>
