I am playing a newly leveled 12th level Human Monk. My feats, including my monk feats are:
Strong Soul: Will & Fortitude saves are at +1. Saves vs. Level Drains & Death Effects are at +1
Foe Hunter: Orcs- Attacks vs. Orcs are +1 Hit/Damage (under 30 ft). Weapons used vs. Orcs have double threat range
Improved Unarmed Strike
Stunning Fist
Deflect Arrows
Weapon Finesse
Blind Fight
Improved Trip
Improved Grapple
So I picked up “The Ultimate Warrior,” a new D&D book full of feats, prestige classes, and rules. I feel a little like a kid in a candy store. I was recently thinking that there weren’t enough feats for monks, and then this book came out. Now that I’m at 12th level, I get a new feat and stat bonus. There are plenty of feats in the book I’m eligible for, but some only if I apply the stat bonus to one stat or another. Maybe you guys can help me decide. Here’s the rundown:
Earth’s Embrace: I can crush a pinned opponent, doing extra damage each round.
Freezing the lifeblood: Instead of stunning, I can do no damage and paralyze an opponent for 1d4+1 rounds. Being paralyzed is much worse than being stunned.
Kiai Shout: Basically freaks out all my enemies within 30’ for 1d6 rounds. They get a Will save.
Weakening Touch: I spend a stunning fist to do no damage, but reduce their strength by 6 for 1 minute.
Or else I could also take Combat Reflexes, which will give me 5 attacks of opportunity per round. There are also a few other feats that just allow me to do more damage under certain circumstances, but I think I’ll leave that task to the fighter and ranger in the group.
Can you help me out?
