I am kind of stuck with loss of brilliant ideas for my cleric, especially when it comes to feats. So, now I really need to ask around for suggestions. We use basic Greyhawk books (only WotC, no FRCS). I am playing quite a "wild" cleric of Kord, before adventuring he lived in his clan, the culture being similar with native americans: very attuned with nature, a shamanistic approach to religion, fighting sports (like wrestling and hunting) were one of the most common freetime activities, arts were towards dancing and acrobacy. Specifically he is a great archer, and an expert healer. Race: Wild Elf Alignment: Chaotic Good Stats: Str 13, Dex 19, Con 12, Int 6, Wis 15, Cha 12 You can see he is definitely the party archer, together with the ranger. His weakness is in being completely out for skills. At 1st level, I took Point Blank Shot, Heal skill (4 ranks), Strength and Luck domains, and I agreed with the DM for battleaxe prof. instead of longsword, just for flavor. Now I wish to plan for future advancement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SKILLS Not too much to choose here, but I don't think I need to raise Heal more than this. Knowledge (Religion) is not exactly his style. Concentration is the only one I can think of, but it still be so low that I'll probably never try to cast spells while threatened. Another possibility could be Diplomacy: we have a high-Cha sorcerer, but she's not taking this skill. FEATS I don't want a melee Warpriest. I would like to improve a little more his archery, to keep him competitive with the ranger, but also I wish him to take more typical cleric feats. I won't min-max him necessarily, so I'd have feats for new possibilities rather than bumpers. My ideas so far: lv3 Rapid Shot lv6 Brew Potion, Craft Wand or Craft Wondrous Items* lv9 Weapon Finesse (Touch spells) lv12 Reach Spell lv15 another metamagic? lv18 Innate Spell * item crafting may strain from the character concept, so I'll take only 1. BP seems more appropriate but of limited usefulness. WF and Reach Spells would be great since his Dex is very high. The other metamagic I could think of are Extend Spell and Sculpt Spell. I am dubious about Innate Spell: it would be very attractive, but which spell? Inflict Light Wounds? Bah... ABILITY INCREASE lv4 Dex lv8 Wis lv12 Wis lv16 Wis lv20 Wis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A final note: Notice that I have already surrendered to the idea of NOT qualifying for any PrCl: most of them require skills unaffordable by me, and at the same time I would take a PrCl only with full (or almost) advancement in spellcasting, since I am the only cleric, I want to be raising dead friends soon. Also, I don't think I wish to "waste" feats and skills to qualify for a PrCl which I can start at level 15th or something: I might be dead much earlier  Any help welcome!!! :)
