Bone Apple Tree I love this Idea but I'm way too far from the game right now to make all the numbers right. Could someone add the 3.5 data to this description??? Bone Apple Tree Created by a dark druid to protect the woodlands this tree is a bane to the unwary. Growing quickly to great heights it appears to be a twisted and lofty apple tree with high branches that give off a pleasant sweet aroma and several large apples, ripe for the picking. Woe to the wanderer that eats an apple or spends too much time beneath its branches. If a character rests beneath a bone apple tree they will fall into a deep sleep. If a character eats the fruit of a bone apple tree they will enter a coma. Sleeping, or restrained creatures beneath the tree will gradually be intwined by seeking vines and roots from the tree's trunk. The tree's aroma brings sweet oblivion and sleep in such a way that creatures will not notice the encircling roots. When the tree senses its victems are asleep and ensnared the vines tighten asphixiating its prey and the roots, like a thousand maple syrop spikes, draw out the body's blood. Bone tree roots sit atop a mound of their collected corpses. Some say that a tree will only bear as many fruit as it has intelligent dead +1. Alchemists have found dark uses for the fruit and blossoms of this tree. If you burn its wood it smells of flesh -- the wood rots very quickly after being cut. The tree can only be grown where its fruit is placed within a humanoid skull then planted. Sigurd. Anyone wanting to expand this & do a proper write up would be most appreciated. Also for those seeking to put danger in the forrest I can recommend http://www.necromancergames.com/ for their freebie of two treants. The promo is for "Glades of Death".
