Message: <blockquote data-quote="FrostedMini1337" data-source="post: 3028923" data-attributes="member: 42882">Ok, my gigantic plan has completely panned out.  The problem is that my plan has never had climax: after amassing power we're going to have nothing to do with it.(We're using Power of Faerun rules)[sblock=party info]It's now me and one other player, Psion/Thrallherd Clerc/DreadTyrant.  I've been allowed to take Extra Followers and Rulership at next level I'll have Leadership score of 28 I'm allowed to use the Epic Table without the Epic Leadership feat.  The Cleric has Extra Followers as well.  In 2 levels I will have 1000 first level followers by myself.  In addition to our personal vanguards, we command the said troops in the first post.  Then we could always ask the main host of the Zhent army for help.  The Ride is now settled by the barbarians and the inhabitants of the Dragonspine mountain range has also come down and settled the Ride, and the Zhents have established themselves in the area, and have begun trading and conscripting from the area.  Some of the barbs have been coverted the BaniteismWe have the following troops at our command:Psion/Thrallherd Clerc/DreadTyrant. + Warmage 108-15 4-6th Commanders1800 Footmen 1st Level, 300 2nd Level, 40 3rd.112 Sorcerers/Warmages, 22 2nd Level, 6 3rd.30 Clerics, 10 2nd, 8 3rd.50 Archers10 first level adepts.Very little actual cavalry(30-50), although a lot of horses.[/sblock]My new plan is this: in the books in mentions that the area of Thesk has a bunch of orcs that used to be Zhents but aren't and won't fall back in line.  We aim to go make them fall back in line or get crushed. Don't worry about how I'm gonna do that.My question: With Zhentil Keep rebuilt and citys view of the Zhents radically changed (they are actually willingly joining), the orcs in Thesk back in the Zhents (or mostly leveled, and the remainder back in Zhenthood), and the Ride being brought in to the fold along with Thar(that swamp area), and Phlan what would you do?  What would Fzoul do with all this new power we've thrown at his feet?The Zhent army command love us, and Fzoul likes us too I think, but we pretty much can't be promoted beyond our current station.  What to do then?Let's say I ask to removed from my post.  I would still have my personal thralls and believers, and the cleric would have his, but would we lose the soldiers below us.  Exactly how much power does as Psion(Telepath)5/Thrallherd9, Cleric of Bane5/Dread Tyrant of Bane5 with 1500 armed 1st level warriors,  wield in the grand scheme of Faerun?  Now how about that +2-3K flying the banner of the Zhent army?</blockquote>
