You dont mention what magical items are available nor how the evil-druid-you came about...if he's aware that your innate arsenal is mostly fire-based, he'll be prepared to counter it. Ideally pick a dry area of the forest full of kindling for your ambush. Buff with whatever scrolls you can before the battle starts, including 1+ unseen servants. Lead off with Fly for some height, dropping several flasks of alchemist fire to ignite the forest around him -- not only should it burn away anything useable for his entangle/animation spells, but give him something besides you to worry about. His presumed fire-resistance means the fire/heat wont be an issue ... however dodging falling debris, smoke/flames should force him to contend with continual concentration checks for the duration ... and the smoke/flames would give you both at least partial cover (IRC 25% chance for ranged attacks to miss?) -- not that you care since you primary spells dont need precise aim, being magic missle (auto-hit) and fireball (area of effect). Secondly the forest fire might imped his summoning spells since most of the local animals are fleeing for safety, reducing whats available. Recall the unseen servant(s)? - no direct offensive use per-se, but could be used to force concentration checks, harassing him by guiding falling debris directly over his head, doing rope-trips, etc while he's busy concentrating on his spells and your actions. Recall the unseen servant(s)? While they cant attack directly, can be instructed to harass the druid endlessly for their 1-hour duration. For example, "lift the druid's right boot" isnt an attack but would be rather distrubing, forcing him to make a concentration check to remain standing let alone cast spells, aim attacks, etc. same for "push falling limbs towards the druid" They can also be used to activate traps if there is time to setup your chosen kill zone, serving to not only make life on the ground even more interesting but also serve to further confuse him asto just how many allies accompanied you into "his" ambush. items: - ring of feather falling for when the Fly expires - wand of lighting bolts since he's fire-resistant - scroll: Darkness --- trip him with the unseen servant and while prone/distracted, rush in and cast Darkness on his robe/etc if possible. Sure, you open for a grapple if he recovers first but if successful makes it far more difficult for him to leave the spell's radius impeding his ability to see both you and the surrounding flames while giving you the perfect target to aim your fireballs/etc at. There's plenty Im overlooking, but at least you have the general idea off the top of my head :) have fun and let us know how it plays out.
