Since they were an official approved by WotC site I figured it was ok to download the article from there.I would never have reverse engineered the extra HD from base size by type numbers just from the MM example critters. Rereading the monster entry now I see they are using the term two different ways in the MM. Using EHD as a term for both advancement hit dice and tougher than base size HD is confusing and lead to problems applying the formula back to MM creatures the first time I did it.</blockquote>
