Help Needed for Psionics on Greyhawk

Hello, and thank you if you're taking the time to read this.

I was wondering if anybody knew of any area on the Flanaess where psionics are somewhat prominent. I believe I recall an order of psionic monks somewhere, but my knowledge of anything outside of Verbobonc is sketchy at best. One of my players wants to be a psion, and I plan on allowing it. I'm confident that we could come up with a reason for his psionic abilities, but I find that it's generally more fun when a player is given some suggestions on how his/her character could tie into the gameworld.

I have been searching the web for some information on this, but unfortunately I've been completely unsuccessful. I figured that if there's any place where I might find someone who's more knowledgeable on Greyhawk, it would be on these boards.

Try checking this article out: The Splintered Mind. Also, the faith of Zuoken tend to be somewhat psionically active, so that's also a possibility.

Look to Zuoken and Xan Yae.

The Baklunish lands, around the Sultanate of Zief and such, are a good bet for psionic people, since the two best known psionic gods are Baklunish. Xan Yae, the Mistress of Perfection, Grand Mistress of Petals, is the goddess of shadows, mind over matter, and stealth. Zouken was a martial artist who was raised to demi-god status by Xan Yae for being such an awesome psionic follower.

Any other area could be psionic, but those that come to mind as being suitable for reasons of uniqueness would be Blackmoor and the Land of Black Ice, Hepmonland and the jungles in the south, and the Sea of Dust.
