Help on Deadlands

After spending a weekend at my first gaming convention (a small one called Foundation in Lansing, MI) I was delighted to a great presentation of the Deadlands game and system. Having grown a little weary of failed D&D exploits with my gaming group I thought I would check out starting up Deadlands. I went into the dealer room and scroundged around and was able to come away with three books in total costing me $25 not a bad deal. Problem is that the only players guide they had was the first edition. I was able to find the newer Marshals Guide and The Quick and The Dead campain setting but no updated Players Guide. So now I have a conversion problem figuiring out what changes there were. If anyone knows of a webpage or has a list of the changes they made I would be greatly apreciative. I hear they were not numerous so I am hopping that finding the specific changes will suffice and that I will not need to track down the newer Players Guide. Thanks again for anyhelp.

I believe RPGNow has the newest Player's Guide aviable as a PDF. It may also be only $5. Check them out directly or try the Deadlands website. It has some material for download and some good links (though they may not have been updated for quite some time), as they say during the summer re-runs "It's all new to you!"

If you have the 2E Marshall's Guide it should list the differences of 1st and 2nd and how to change it.
