Help! Private Message problem!!

I just received two e-mail alerts, one that I have a private message, and one that my account has reached its quota. (Is one message really a quota?)

In any event, every time I try to access my PMs, I'm told I don't have permission to access that area.

'cause only Community Supporters have access to the PM system.

I've never heard of a non-CS receiving a PM, though. Maybe it's a new glitch, courtesy of the new board software.

I'm not a CS now, though I keep hoping to become one at a later date. (Yeah, I know, if I'd just get off my butt and do it... ) I had no idea only CSs could receive private messages. So yeah, it must be a glitch, because I received the two e-mail notifications.

BTW, assuming things had been working properly, should someone receive a message that I can't receive PMs if they try to send one? I'd hate for people to PMing others without realizing they're not getting anywhere...

Quick check...

Right, in non-CS' profiles is no 'PM this user' button.
There is one under their posts, however. *frown*

Trying to send Nightfall (who's not a CS) a PM resulted in the following message:

>The following errors occured when this post was submitted:

1. Nightfall has exceded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.<

So I assume that whoever tried to PM you (maybe it was Piratecat? *shrug*) got the same message.
