It allows you to receive televisoins reception through a coaxal cable into your computer and record to your hard drive.&nbsp;&nbsp; Another cheap solution could be looking for a DVD recorder.&nbsp; I've seen them at the oneaday sites for as little as 50 or 60 bucks.&nbsp; If you can't get none of these, I&quot;d recommend missing the 2nd and 3rd quarter of the game or watching whats going on between commercials.&nbsp; I have learned that the woman always wins and her happiness means your happiness.&nbsp; If she is not happy, you will not be happy.&nbsp; I love football but i hate watching recorded games.&nbsp;&nbsp; so what i'll do is flip between commercials, watch the first quarter and last quarter in its entirity (usually the most exciting parts of a game) and follow the box score at nfl.com during the game.&nbsp; They even show highlight films instantly of big plays.</blockquote>
