Message: <blockquote data-quote="Ailil" data-source="post: 1877703" data-attributes="member: 12450"><p>My group recently picked up two new players.  I'm trying to work with them and make sure they have a good time.  One of them decided that he'd like his PC to become a Dragon Disciple (ala Tome and Blood).  I like prestige classes to have an in-game motivation, but I'm having a hard time with this one.  The campaign is a heavily modified version of the Earthdawn world.  It is set just as the first named races have left the caers.  At this point, the only intellegent, non-corrupted life the PCs have met are a handul of centaurs and some degenerated humans.  They've learned that a horror-tainted dragon is intent on dominating the world and have foiled the designs of some of his minions. At this point in the campaign, the PCs are exploring and looking for other named races, but they will eventually challenge this dragon's plot. Any ideas on working out a dragon disciple into this campaign?</p></blockquote><p></p>
