I'm writing a book from a d&d adventure where the Cat Lord has quite a large role. The problem is I can't find his stats. He's not in Deity's & Demigods, and I don't know where else to look. Can anyone PLEASE help?
If you for some reason don't like any of the other suggestions, maybe masculine-ize and rename Bast, from Deities and Demigods? She's the cat goddess of the Egyptian pantheon - but you probably knew that.
Just remember that unlike Bast... the CatLord has absolutely *no* concern with human worshippers... couldn't care one way or the other - the only way any of my characters have ever gotten involved with her (him - whatever - the gender changes depending on which CatLord it currently is) was by true ressing the party's pet cat. That sort of got her attention in a good way. (My character got licked on the cheek for it. ) The CatLord has died before and another replaced the old one - so we're probably looking at demi-god status at best. You may have to get fuzzy on the rules if that doesn't match what you're looking for.
Gary Gygax's original Cat Lord -- as seen in "At Moonset Blackcat Comes" (Dragon #100), Artifact of Evil, etc., and indeed in the original Monster Manual II -- is named Rexfelis and is not a god (though equivalent to a demi-god or quasi-deity).
