So, in my campaign, I have an NPC who's actually good, but bent on revenge on the PCs. Here's the reason (I thought it was somewhat funny how that all happened), basicly they came upon a tribe of orc (ooc: they were good), but unfortunatly diplomacy failed, PCs refused to do a quest that would earn the orc's trust. So basicly it came down to blows, with the PCs actually winning and slaughtering what might be the very last tribe of good-aligned orc on the planet. Funny? Yeah I thought so. :) So funnier still, we have the son of the orc chieftan that actually was not slaughtered by the PCs *he was guarding something somewhere else, the PCs only went there the next morning, after they spent all day killing off every remaining man, woman and orc child in their little keep. So the orc was hiding somewhere else. Anywho, here's my question. Anyone have any idea how to make this revenge-bent, but still good orc lad? I was thinking ranger, for the whole "I am going to track you guys and kill you like you did to my father and whatnot", I am opened to other suggestions. I was thinking of making him level 6 or 7 ish. Just out of the players power reach for now. He's only going to come along later in the campaign though. :) Thanks for your input.
