Okay I got a build I want but I need to know about items. It is a hurling character that uses claws and grappling techniques to get rid of melee fighters (literally I can throw them just as well as I can boulders).
Well, I figured that but I need specifics such as costs and maybe some practical items for this character such as boulders I can actually walk around with and use at a moments notice.
buy a portable hole or two to carry around boulders. they can fit something 6 feet wide and ten feet tall. carry a boulder on you for no extra weight. buy some bags of holding and carry around random to throw in case you find yourself where you can't throw stuff.
Mundane/alchemical/magical grenade-like weapons should be a part of any build focused on throwing.
Kegs of oil become firebombs for you.
A spellcaster who knows Shrink Item or Reduce can also increase the size of your ammo reserve.
If you have anyone in the party who is small enough for you to throw, the "Fastball Special" may be a good tactic for you. A Monk trying to get to a Wizard might appreciate this tactic...
Okay, great, how about costs? I also have the choke hold feat from Oriental adventures any wisdom boosters that won't obstruct strength items (uses wisdom modifier).
Have you considered Reaping Mauler from Complete Warrior? 5 level progression that gives bonuses to grappling, including a nifty skill to kill an opponent if you maintain a grapple for 3 rounds. Book also contains Hulking Hurler...but...I'm guessing you know that already? Master Thrower as well!
