Help WIth Lost Armor Spell

Vladamere

First Post
Many years ago I had a high level cleric (3rd or 3.5) with a spell that granted something like 8 points of ac (regular armor bonus I think). It shed light as per "daylight" spell and had the light descriptor. I thought it was called something like "radiant armor" and I suppose I could have had access to it via miracle.

For the life of me I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone heard of this spell?
Any help would be great! Thank You!

sounds like a Miracle combination of Mage Armor + Daylight (presuming full effects) otherwise it might just be Mage Armor glamored/fluff to glow like any magical weapon; either of which I'd allow IMC.

The spell you're looking for is Luminous Armor, from Book of Exalted Deeds. It works exactly like Mage Armor, except as follows: it provides a +5 armor bonus, it sheds daylight, and opponents attacking you in melee take a -4 penalty to attack rolls due to being half-blinded.
This is a spell with a sacrifice component (1d2 Str damage, IIRC), so you might use it with care. Still a vastly OP spell, even if you can't mitigate the sacrifice cost. Use with Abjurant Champion, and drink a Schnapps afterwards to digest all that cheddar.
