Help!

I've had a problem posting for quite some time. I'm lazy, so I just haven't posted in the last year.

My problem:
1) When I log in, no problem. I go to reply to something.
2) It says I don't have access to post.
3) A message says I've registered but haven't verified my e-mail address (text copied below).
4) When I click on 'verification e-mail' it has an old e-mail address.
5) It has a link to update the e-mail address in my profile, but when I click on that, it says I don't have access to that either.

Kind of a vicious circle. Thoughts? Thanks for any help.

You have two accounts with the same email address: bruiser and the_bruiser (the latter has 90+ posts attached to it). Which one do you want to use? And what email address would you like associated with it?

Ah! Maybe that's where I've gone wrong. Let's go with the_bruiser, and e-mail address bruce.vestal at gmail dot com.

Fixed!

Okay, so with the_bruiser there was no problem, that's all I needed. As far as I can tell, problem fixed by using that account - I've changed password and done a test post. Thanks again.
