I'm working on a PrC, but I'm not sure how to dole out the abilities. Any input on where certain abilities should show up and which ones might be too powerful welcome... The King’s Chosen PrC Every king is expected to have "companions", and every king is expected to have bodyguards. What assassins and other evildoers often don't except is for them to be the one and the same. But the lovely women who serve one royal family, waiting on the king or singing and dancing to amuse guests are also watching those guests for any threat and stand ready to defend the king with their lives. The King's Chosen are drawn from the same noble families as champions and generals. The young women are picked early and raised in the palace to be charming, talented and formidable hand to hand fighters. If found to be good enugh, and if they are willing, they serve the king as 'temporary wives'. The child they bear is removed immediately and, if male, raised as an heir. The Chosen then go back into more intensive training to serve and protect the family they are now bound to. Alignment: Any lawful Hit Die: d8 Requirements: Skills Perform 5 ranks, diplomacy 5 ranks, sense motive 4 ranks Feats : Improved unarmed strike, improved trip. BAB : +4 Special : Must have successfully born a royal child. Skills Class Skills: The King's Chosen’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Balance (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Disguise (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Heal (Wis), Jump (Str), Listen (Wis), Perform (Cha), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Spot (Wis), Swim (Str), and Tumble (Dex). Skills per level : 4 + int bonus (maybe 6 skill points, haven't decided) Abilities : Good ref and will saves. Run In High Heels (Fight in any clothing without penalty) Continuation of monk unarmed BAB and damage, stunning attacks in no particular order of abilities I want to dole out. Deflection bonuses. Improvised Weapon. (a ranged "unarmed" subdual attack at some variation of the monks unarmed damage) Protect other (make a reflex save to add your defensive bonus to your lord's ac - if attack still hits, chosen takes (half?) damage.) Hide attack (strike an opponent within 5 feet of you without other's noticing it was you who took him down) Feign weakness (bluff check to attack an opponent as if he was flatfooted.) Steadfast loyalty (bonuses to saves when failure would endanger lord - hold person, comand, etc) Defend to the death (stay up and fighting past 0 hp if lord is in danger.) Sense threat (bonus to sense motive checks and automatic check on anyone hostile to your lord) Detect poison Detect thoughts (X times per day, etc) Detect traps
