Just stickin' myself into the fray!
My opinions? I like d20, tight rule system (though Hero will always be the best), but...
D&D I find is limiting in one's imagination, all those stats that everyone counts as canon. Ick.
And what the h*ll is up with the Monster Manual? The one book that should've been the thickest is (especially for $30) the thinest! Wizards should have stuck at least most of the critters form Monsters of Faerun in the Monster Manual, and the rest should've gone to the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting!
Many folks I know (including myself) only collect the hardcovers 'cause they last longer, this means no "Faerun" monsters (like Bullywugs) or Greyhawk information!
Including the books currently scheduled for release, there are 12 hardcovers for D&D. In the 1st edition, the 13th was The World of Greyhawk. I wonder if they'll do the same this time around?
I like FUGDE and love the Hero system, though Wizard's System Reference Document makes it hard to ignore d20. Maybe I'll make up my own game someday...
Anyway, that's my rant. Any takers?

Welcome!

Its good to see that someone else was wise enough to begin their name with "d" something. I'm still waiting for someone to name themselves somethiing like "d3PO" or "d4_hurts_when_you_step_on_it."

So, on to your topic. Way toooooo much for one thread. You gotta pace yourself - any one of your sentences could form a topic.

[if this is a troll, I hate myself]
