Gas Dragons are born with dark yellow glossy scales, that lighten and take on a metallic sheen as the dragon ages, as the dragon matures the scales on it's sides and wings develop splotches in different colors, usually pink, cyan, light blue, and other light colors. The dragons eyes shift in all the colors of the rainbow, with yellow and orange being the predominant colors. Gas dragons prefer to lair in isolated locales within a days flight from caravan routes, shipping lanes, or large settlements. They have a weakness for the flesh of wilderbeast and other large grazing mammals, and prefer to lair close to the habitat of such creatures. Combat: Even in combat a gas dragon is chaotic, being just as likely charge their opponents as they are to cast a spell or use their breathweapon. Their tactics change constantly, but they try to use their innat abilities to the greatest effect possible. Breathweapon (Su): A gas dragon has two breathweapons, a cone of corrosive (acid) gas that deals the listed damage, and a cone of gaseous form, anyone caught in the latter must make a fortitude save at the listed DC or be affected as by the gaseous form spell for a number of rounds equal to 3 plus the dragons age category. Gas Immunity (Ex): Gas dragons completely ignores the effects of cloud spells, poison gases, and other effects of gas. They are still affected by the reduced line of sight from gas and cloud spells however, but their blindsight usually cancles this out. Obscuring Mist (Sp): A cloud dragon can use this ability as the spell with the same name, once per day per age category. Other Spell-like abilities: 3/day - Murderous Mist, and Stinking Cloud; 1/day - Acid Fog and Cloudkill. Comments are welcome.
