I found this episode, not just bad but insulting. Peter said it best when he stated to Angela: "you could have told us this in a restaurant". The show took at best 20 minutes of material and stretched it out to 45 minutes. As I watched the drudgery, plod ever forward, I thought to myself that maybe the show would cut to Hiro/Ando/Parkman....but I have become so fatigued of those three the prospect did not hearten. Did the writers forget to mention that Alice was developmentally challenged? I can not think of a better reason for any rational person to stay in one place for 50 years, of course the character was just invented 1 episode ago. You have the government with knowledge of "Supers" in 1961, in 2008 when a soldier volunteered to get super powers, and 2009. You have mass graves in 1961 and Guantanamo bay style detention and murder in 2009. You have Sylar impersonating Nathan, a senator, and you have the old movie reel made by Papa Surresh...........methinks the opposite of hiding is in order....time to expose. I have been a loyal Heroes watcher. I have been willing to suspend disbelief, and upon occasion, logic, rationality, and the demand for sensible actions and story writing. This episode was a complete waste of time, and I found myself wanting the show to be canceled so I would not feel guilty to abandon it.
