[sblock=Flashback] Liam merely grinned in the girl's general direction, letting her take his arm. He couldn't see her, obviously, but she sounded cute, and judging from the way she held his arm up against her, she was fairy light, and definitely a young woman. He resigned himself to let her be his eyes, for the time being. It's not like he had many options. He tipped his wide brimmed stetson hat to her. "Darlin, if we run into trouble, it'll regret the day it ran into me." [/sblock] Tap...tap...tap...tap... Liam's new rod tapped the ground rhythmically as he walked, swaying the rod left and right in front of him so it would alert him of any obstacles in his way. He was getting the hang of this. His escort had him torn to the right, and his cane hit wood. A step. He deftly lifted it to guage the height of the step, and made his way up the few stairs that led to the door. When it opened, a bombardment of new sensory input wafted over him. The smell of alcohol and sweat, mostly human, though there was at east one wood elf, there. It's amazing how you can learn to tell the difference with your nose when your eyes stop working. He stood in the doorway for a moment, as if surveying the room. He stretched out with his...new senses. One person, walking back and forth. The bartender. Two standing near him, but not within a few feet. Another two, facing each other on the other side of the room. And one, at the other end, by himself. He gripped his rod, and held out a hand for Alemei. She took it and led him to one of the tables. He turned and seemed to look straight at the bartender, tipping his hat. "Whiskey, please."
