[QUOTE="KahlessNestor, post: 7072086, member: 6801311"] Essess/Bredonshire/Timberhand Logging Camp 29 Mother/1:51 AM Weather: 78 F/25 C; No wind; Light rain Round 0 The heroes limp their way to the road and the gate leading inside the timber palisade. They are halted by a voice from above. “Who goes there?” “It’s me, Curdy, Mr. Crat!” Curdy calls up into the torchlight. “The goblins got Irene, and I have some folks helping me get her back!” “Let ‘em in!” the voice called down, and soon the heavy gate creaked open, allowing them inside. A large, burly human male in his forties approached them. He handed a crossbow off to another lumberjack, who mounted the wall in his place, and he slung a large axe on his shoulder. He had black hair and green eyes, and his paler skin marked him of Arideen stock. “Is Keladara around, Orves?” Curdy asked. “We ran into goblins and wolves on the way and some of us are hurt.” “Goblins and wolves are all around us, kid. Can’t you hear ‘em?” Orves asked. As if to punctuate his statement, a series of howls went up in the night. “That’s why we got the men up on the wall. Don’t know what’s got ‘em riled up. Keladara’s in the Woodchip.” Curdy nodded. The boy led the heroes to a single story log building.
