Currently, he had heavy curtains on the windows, and all the candles doused. The room was nearly pitch black, but he could see just fine. He went to work, making himself presentable. Then he dressed, putting on his blindfold and then his hat, and made his way out into the bright world, meeting up with the rest as Cliant was talking about a garrison where they could find supplies.
