Suddenly a barking yip alerted them to the presence of something in the tall grass to the south. Fifteen kobolds rose up from the grass, blinking in the bright sunlight, brandishing daggers and slings, with one wielding a spear and hand crossbow. They were the normal earth tones of brown, greens, and reds like most kobolds, but, oddly, all had various splotches of white scales. The spear-wielder yelled a command in draconic and the kobolds moved to attack. A flurry of slingstones and a crossbow bolt fly at the adventurers, but the kobolds’ aim was terrible in the direct sunlight. Liam took a rock in the arm, and Sayine yelped in pain as she was struck by a stone.</p><p></p><p>Sayine leapt from Theremin’s shoulder and turned invisible. She flew toward a group of kobolds. Suddenly a cone of bright, rainbow colors erupted, engulfing four of the kobolds. The kobolds cry out and clutch at their eyes, which were now swirling rainbows as they fumbled around, unable to see.</p><p></p><p>[OOC=By mercy of DM, you managed to avoid surprise LOL Using a single Stealth roll, I got a 21. But I changed my mind and decided to use a die roll and actually roll 15 Stealths. Same for initiative.
