[QUOTE="Mark, post: 5007877, member: 5"] Funny. Well, when a show becomes predicatable and the writers no longer take it seriously, I feel it is time to make predicitons! Predictions - I think they are setting the stage to begin slaughtering secondary characters. All of the "guests" at the Bennett gathering could be killed (Lauren, Gretchen, Doug, Penelope Jean Lovegood III) without destroying any essential character arcs and most of the Circus freaks seemed like have been introduced this seasons just to give the writers specials that are expendable but they need to do it soon if the show is going to not lose what's left of its momentum. I think the top candidates marked for death are Lauren, Gretchen, Edgar and, maybe, Lydia. Lydia might be too sympathetic but Edgar certainly has enough of a bad past that killing him off would be justified. Gretchen seems only to have been brought back to give Claire some wheels. Lauren's arc just smacks of doing something to give HRG someone to love that the writers can kill without getting hate mail. Too bad, too, IMO, since Rohm has seriously grown as an actor and puts the talents of Lantern-Jaw Larter to shame. I wonder if Lauren is truly from a pre-One-of-Them,-One-of-Us era or if she has a power that is yet to be revealed? More predictions - They've made their intentions of bringing back Nathan to life rather clear, so that's another sticking point in the show's credibility. I think we can expect Parkman to shuttle Nathan's memories back over to his "preserved" body (doesn't anybody at the storage place have a sense of smell?!). Probably Syler will somehow coerce or force Parkman to do so. Obviously, HRG will discover the compass is missing and Lauren will sidekick for him as he chases after Claire. Mohinder will have a part to play, I assume in bringing the information needed to thwart Samuel before the end of the season. Edgar will die trying to take revenge on Samuel, he might even be used as a way to get at Samuel when all else seems to be failing, or as a distraction that allows a true Hero to finish Samuel off.
