I'm searching for a Fantasy RPG writer that has already developed a campaign setting that may want to "license" some of their campaign setting for a project of mine. Let me be clear, I'm not hiring a writer to come up with a setting. I just can't afford that. I have a boardgame I am working on and just need some flavor text and backstory etc... you know... "Depth".
Because of this, I'm hoping the Author would be a little more gentle with the fees. I can't pay much up front especially since the project might never happen. But maybe a small up front fee and a "per game" addition once the game gets published? I'm open to discussions on fee structure.
Probably everyone in this group has a campaign laying around the bottom of their closet. Hopefully someone wants to try and get at least some content out there and visible? Surely someone would like to get something published at the very least for the experience and exposure. You will get full credit on websites, rulebook, gamebox, etc...
Even if the content is already published, I can use bits and pieces. Again, I'm NOT trying to publish an RPG. Just flavor for my boardgame. You will get full recognition.
I will also have a map of the kingdom created for my boardgame. Maybe as part of the fees, I allow full usage of the map for your RPG if you don't already have one made.
I can buy a digital copy of whatever RPG you have to check it out and see if it's along the lines of what I'm looking for.
Again this is a paid project, we just need to be creative on the fee structure so I can afford you.
