It has a local constabulary and town guard. The highest ranking priest at the Hall of the Judge's Scale also serves as local magistrate. A twelve foot high wooden pallisade surrounds the town and as access from both north and south (Northgate and Southgate). The town is of moderate size and offers all sorts of adventuring supplies. There is an Apothecary for herbs and spell components, an Alchemist for potions and elixirs. There are also a few temples/shrines dedicated to various non-evil deities. In addition to the spellcaster's resources, there are a few weaponsmiths and armorers.
