If a character's HP don't seem to match what she should have for her class and level, then a more detailed audit is called for.Since many AL characters are multi-classed, I'd probably list some formulae rather than an explicit chart -- something like "d12 = (7+CON mod)*(levels {-1 if 1st level class}) [+12+CON mod for 1st lvl]". Then you can simply take the 3 levels of barbarian and 6 levels of fighter and quickly calculate what the HP should be based on the character's CON mod.It's a quick test, and will often give you insight as to the players who either didn't pay much attention when building their characters or are sneakily trying to put one over on the DM.--Pauper</blockquote>
