I’m Bruce Johan, and this is the 12 o’clock news.In the last few hours, hurricane force snowstorms have struck throughout the country.  A new felonious villain calling himself “Crazy Cold Snowdude” has claimed responsibility for the unseasonal weather.  He has demanded that the government release a long list of villains from custody, or he will continue his reign of frozen terror indefinitely.  The local temperature is expected to reach minus 5 degrees today, with a low of minus 12.In other news: “Amazing Ferret,” the loveable and manic superhero, and sexy squeaky superheroine/supermodel “The Candy Land Avenger,” have announced their plans to wed.  The happy couple have decided to hold the ceremony on the moon, but are having difficulty obtaining the proper permits to do so.  Amazing Ferret was quoted as saying, “It’s times like these that you’re really tempted to switch sides.  How many super villains have unlicensed techno-doom-domes on the moon?  Hundreds!  And I can’t even get a permit for one stinkin’ wedding ceremony.”  The Candy Land Avenger was also asked to comment on these events, but she declined to comment (we think) by giggling inanely until our cameraman’s head exploded.  We’ll miss you, Joe.In local news:  A strange ship descended from outer space this morning and landed in central park.  This has proven to be an awkward place for the spacecraft’s inhabitants, who happen to look exactly like Earth dogs.
