D&D 5E Hoard of the Dragon Queen Maps Suggestion

Howdy-

Just got done putting together the maps for Castle Naerytar from HotDQ and now the I think my game will go faster instead of drawing all that stuff out on a mat. What I did was scan in the original map from the book then enlarged it in my graphics program then cut each bit out to print and tap together. And yes it was a pain.

So my suggestion to WoTC is to include larger maps in their next module instead of putting small little maps in the book and not having to flip back and forth to such maps.

Here are pics of the maps I did and comparing them to their original source.

You can also buy the digital versions of the maps from the artist's homepage http://theredepic.bigcartel.com/products

I bought a couple of the old WOTC Map Packs, made a couple of my own and used what I already had to spruce up the encounters. I don't feel too tied to the provided maps since they there are much more interesting battlemaps available online - for free.

EDIT: Jared Blando is the HotDQ map artist's name.

And after you do that you can send it over to these guys. They only do 100 DPI, so the detail will not be super. Small text is almost unreadable, but you get it on what amounts to a wet erase battlemat.

But you can get as many maps as you can fit into a 4'x8' mat for around $32 and then cut them out.
