Now personally, I wouldn't have cancelled preorders until we see what the stock will be, but that sounds more like someone panicking - though we don't know if they have good information for their decision or not, it's possible that they expect, for whatever reason, to receive none. But that's not the last official statement. There's also the chance that someone in the supply chain wants to scoop them up and sell them on ebay for extra cash, but that seems unlikely.
