So I watched it, and I thought it was quite delightful! Let's see, highlights...

The DM went all out with the customization, reworking all the spells to holiday themes. They had things like giant snowball, candy cane storm, and healing ho-ho-ho. The in-game holiday was "Giftsmas," the feast of St. Giftalus.
Players also had to recite the verbal components for their spells. One PC cast light on a red glass globe and attached it to a reindeer's nose. The verbal component was "Rudolph, with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" It wasn't clear whether the verbal components were preset or improvised on the spot.
Noëlle's charades went over very well.
They did not use the little drummer sprite, and Noëlle was a celestial (adopted daughter of one of the PCs). Also, Tannenbaum was renamed to Hermie for no apparent reason.
The quest began in the town of Bedleham, famous for its holiday hams. The hams were supposed to be exported, but they were in danger of going bad because the roads were blocked by the dryads' activity. I believe the treant was supposed to be the guardian of the road.
There was an added encounter with "snowbolds" (small snow elementals) on the way through the woods. Their main attack is to peck with their carrot noses. When killed, they turn into blobs of snow for one round, but they will re-form on the next round unless their hats are removed, either before killing them or while they are in the blob phase.
There was also an icy river hazard.
The dryads didn't use shortbows, but instead grabbed fallen branches and cast shillelagh.
The race to get Noëlle to the top of the tree was quite a nail-biter!
One PC was caught prone in the path of an animated tree! He was saved by another PC quickly casting enlarge before the tree could attack.
Dice rolls were pretty crazy. One roll was double nat-20s, and another was a nat-20 and a nat-1!
Well worth checking out for those who enjoy these things. Everybody was in a good mood and seemed to be having a ton of fun.
