The elf himself is always considered to be taking 10 whilst in woodlands.This ability represents learning from the elf as far as i can see, rather than an 'aura'. He's pointing things out to you, you're learning from his example etc. Make the racial 'aura' effects all along the take 10 line on skills and there's nothing to remember and nothing to stack. It might be a tad too powerful for some, but if you make it specific, then it fits the niche of the race and doesn't interfere with play all the time.</blockquote>
