I played in a demo Madwabbit ran a couple weeks ago. It was fun. Although a bit rules-light for my tastes, it made for an excellent gameday game.
My first recommendation is to drop the characters right into the thick of the scenario. Eg, if you're going to have a plane crash dump them into a Lost World kinda thing, start with them on the plane as it's going down. Everyone is going to sort-of know what's coming based on the nature of the game, so delaying that too much might get frustrating.
Second, spring for a couple sets of the Ubiquity dice. Makes things so much easier.
Third, because each character archetype has to play to that archetype to earn action points, make sure you include sufficient chances for that to happen. It's possible depending on the scenario for there to be a disparity when the conclusion comes, and you'll end up having some people dominate because they can spend the remaining action points like candy while others have to hoard them.
