I am just trying to get tips from people with frist-hand knowledge of home schooling. And we will be living in the real world, in a variety of places. To be more specific, I move an average of 2-4 times a year. She will have a plethora of opportunity to socialize with many different cultures, both with and at times without parental supervision. The only part that I am not perfectly pleased with is the shortness of her physical contact with any other people. She can keep in touch via internet but it's not the same thing. And you're right, shared experiences, like public school, are a factor in relationships. And there are amazing kids and teachers in public schools as well. But, to use an extreme example, I am not going to send my baby to a concentration camp so that she can share the experience with others and meet a few exceptional people that flourish despite adverse circumstances. At the heart of it, I do not agree with most of the institutions techniques or outlook on education. Anyway, I've been going on more than I planned.
