Then you couldn't help but have a realistic map, with rivers and mountain ranges where they should be, and the work of determining climate, distances etc. is done for you. I'm fairly sure that you could simply rotate the map 90 or 180 degrees and your players would never recognise it once you had dressed it up.Has anyone thought of this before, or tried it?
