Message: <blockquote data-quote="Arkhandus" data-source="post: 2539818" data-attributes="member: 13966"><p>I think it's fine at CR 3, though it's a strong CR 3 it doesn't have the HP to be too strong, nor any SR to negate low-level mages' Magic Missiles.  It's DR isn't too great for a low-level fighter, rogue, or cleric to overcome (if they're reasonably strong, like the demon's 14 Str) and its hit points are low enough for such a character to beat it up in a similar amount of time to what it would take the demon to beat them up in.  The demon'd have a definite advantage against low-AC or low-HP characters, or low-to-moderate Strength characters, but at the same time it's at least plenty vulnerable to Magic Missiles (2-3 should KO it easily, though not all low-level wizards will have that many MMs prepared).</p></blockquote><p></p>
