Tactician Polyglot At 3rd level, you learn a number of languages equal to your Intelligence modifier, and can learn new languages by spending 8 weeks studying the language or interacting with those who speak it. You can make an Intelligence (History or Investigation) check once per week to decrease the time needed. If your check is greater than 10+the number of remaining weeks, you reduce the time needed by a number of days equal to your Intelligence modifier. You always round up when determining the number of weeks remaining for this check, and a workweek is 5 days wherein at least 6 hours is spent on the task at hand. Scholar's Insight You can gain access to a renowned or restricted library without paying an entrance fee or providing a service or otherwise meeting whatever resctricted requirements the library normally observes. Additionally, when you undertake the Research Downtime Activity, you can forgo any cost other than those associate with gaining the help of a fellow scholar. When you do so, and research a creature or organisation, you learn 1 fact relevant to a secret vulnerability or invulnerability of that creature or organization, such as where a lich keeps it's philactory, if you gain at least 1 answered question. If no such secret exists, the DM may decide that a ritual can be learned in this way which will create such a weakness, and give you the details of how to pursue that ritual. Tactician's Gambit Starting at level 3, you gain a new gambit, called Tactician's Guidance. When you take the attack action on your turn, instead of making an attack, you can allow an ally to make a weapon attack against a creature that you can see. Using this ability counts as having made an attack for the purposes of your other gambits. Either the ally or target must be within your presence. Level 7 Archetype Rock Starting at 7th level, when you use Tactical Insight, you can direct an ally within your presence to make an attack against the target using their reaction, and all attacks against the target have advantage until the start of your next turn. Level 11 Archetype Rock Starting at 11th level, you gain an Advanced Gambit. Direct The Charge. As an action you can spend 3 mettle to allow all allies within your presence to make a single weapon or spell attack against a creature of your choice. If an ally chooses to make a spell attack, they must be a spellcaster with at least one cantrip, or known or prepared spell, that requires an attack, and they must choose a damage type dealt by such an attack. The allied attacks deal damage equal to your gambit die+their normal damage modifier. Expert Tutor Starting at 15th level, you build or gain permanent access to a library of prodigious breadth and depth. While in your library, you can teach an ally a language, tool, weapon, or armor, proficiency that you already possess, or learn such a proficiency yourself, using the same process as your polyglot feature. Level 18 Archetype Rock Starting at 18th level, once per turn, you can grant an ally the use of an Attack Action when you would otherwise grant them a single attack. Additionally, while in your library, you and your allies make any rolls as part of a training or research activity with advantage, and complete research tasks in half the normal time.
