Dantos is one of the many "pseudoplanes" that exist attached to the central plane Thea (we call pseudoplane those planes that, although independent in existence, require of the energy of another, hopefully natural plane, as sustenance).The task of the guardians is not very well explained within this post, as I will be making a future one that centres of the three of them (their story includes a fourth one that managed to escape their fate). The Forbidden Guardians are kept in Dantos both as a punishment and because they act as good guardians. Such is the state of insanity they have fallen into that they wish to share all their suffering with other, so they can feel what they feel. This makes them fearsome and threatening to those who wish to stroll through the Prison Plane. Furthermore, they have power over the iron of Dantos, and are in charge of entombing new prisoners (even those never designed to be one; sometimes they trap unwary visitors beneath it as well).
