"I would think, goblin, that are you the one destined never to leave here..." Bahuma's axe is now powered up and shimmering with an acidic sheen. The goblin barbarian keeps up his pressure on Bartlin, lunging at him again. Bartlin tries to get another sting in, but the Goblin dodges past.. only to lock weapons with him again as he brings his axe to bear. Bartlin's attack of opportunity actually <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159674" target="_blank">misses this time</a>. The Goblin power attacks for 2, but <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159675" target="_blank">misses as well</a>. Yarin suddenly dashes through the cave and ends up on the other side of the battle between Bartlin and the goblin. Bartlin smiles and <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159678" target="_blank">strikes</a> with the lance again. "I just heard two demons say that before they died. I'm as unimpressed now as I was then, you poor excuse for a kobold!"The goblin howls with frustration and suddenly seems to re-assess the situation. Bartlin hits for another <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159679" target="_blank">4 damage. </a> The goblin is down to 39 hp. OOC: To Bartlin and Seeks the Darkness only: you both made successful  <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159681" target="_blank">sense motive</a> <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159684" target="_blank">checks</a>. Upon hearing that the 'two demons said that too before they died', the goblin seemed kind of crestfallen. You think he may now try to escape rather than fight this out, as he has made several backwards glances at Bahuman (and now Yarin as well) who are between him and the cave exit to the north. Seeks the Darkness moves forward and fires another <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=159685" target="_blank">carefully aimed arrow</a>, but the goblin steps aside again, and the arrow splinters against the wall next to Yarin.</blockquote>
