If you want something like a +1 sword, or a ring of counterspells (retails at 4000 gp) or something, just make sure you have the funds and the downtime (say between chapters like we are now). Buy it and mark it on your character sheet.  Which brings me to... Rogues Gallery!We need a Rogues Gallery.
