The successes and failures don't need to be consecutive; keep track of both until you collect three of a kind. The number of both is reset to zero when you regain any hit points or become stable."</p><p></p><p>Your first injury of a type is temporary and can be healed with <em>restoration</em> or a certain amount of time. A second injury to the same location is permanent and can only be healed with <em>greater restoration</em> or quests.</p></blockquote><p></p>
