Thundershield
First Post
Okay, so it's been discussed to desolate steppes of Flamewaria and back whether it's an intended design for the defenses to sag behind the attack boni of monsters as the game progresses.
That's not what this thread is about.
Rather, I'd like to ask those of you who feel this is big enough an issue to've made house rules to somehow "fix" it, what are your house rules for it?
I've pondered what to implement myself, depending on how big an impact I want it to have, how much I want to alleviate the feat tax, and how high I want the characters' defenses with and without feats.
So, let's get this train running and see what you've all come up with and how it compares.
EDIT: Okay, so eriktheguy has already started a thread like this, and it seems KarinsDad before that... Going there.
