Hello everyone,
My name is Juan Manuel Molina, I’m from Argentina, and I’m a biologist making my PhD. I’ll travel to Canada to perform a collaborative work with Canadian researchers in Carleton university.
I was looking for housing in Ottawa, and since I received so much advices when asking about the proper gear for those latitudes I thought I could ask about this matter too. I hope I'm not violating any forum rules with this. I'm member of Enworld since 2007, and I'd hate to blast it for breaking the rules.
I’ll be arriving Ottawa by the 14th of January, and will be working in Carleton until the 30th of June. I was hoping to get some advice on housing in the area, preferably near Carleton University or a bus stop. If someone wants to point me towards some place or is planning on renting a room or something, please let me know. I was looking for shared accommodation as my budget is quite tight.
