The Six Million Dollar Warforged From the first time I read about them I've never really been drawn to the Warforged. Ever since then I've been looking at them trying to figure out a slant that would appeal to me. The slant that I like is when the Warforged character isn't really a Warforged. Although I haven't had the opportunity to play it yet, when a character of mine would die the only way their companions had to save them was to put their consciousness into this construct. So my new character would be my old character's mind in a Warforged body. I think it would be very interesting to see how the character would develop in their new body. Whether they would adapt as best they could in their new body to continue in the path (Class) they were familiar with or if they would change their direction for a Class that was more suitable to their new body's abilities. (Ex.: Would a former Wizard try to deal with the consequences of being in armor all of the time or would he shift focus to be a more melee oriented character?) The idea came about after thinking about a Warforged Elemental Savant who was an elemental that was housed in and powered a construct body (and who eventually wanted to be freed of its construct prison). That concept was lifted from DC's Red Tornado, the android that is powered by an elemental. The idea that the Warforged race is really a shell with something different inside lead me to the Six Million Dollar Warforged character.
